Super bowl always brings excitement to my boys (my son and my husband). Whether or not we have a party, I always try to make it fun for them by planning some fun foods that they like (which gives them comfort no matter what team wins). Mexican cuisine is always a winner in my family. Whether you’re just watching for the commercials or for the game, Mexican foods will always be a hit. This year out of curiosity I googled “most popular super bowl food.” And the winner was 7 layer fiesta dip, according to the New York Post (https://nypost.com/2020/01/28/the-most-popular-super-bowl-snack-isnt-chicken-wings-shocking-study-finds/) . That brought a smile to my face and I found a recipe for this from mccormick.com. (https://www.mccormick.com/recipes/appetizer/7-layer-dip) I immediately put this recipe into test with our Food Coach after analyzing it on the ESHA software. I found similar nutrition results what this recipe shows on the website.
Surprisingly this recipe tested on our Food Coach pretty much healthy except the low fiber content and that is what made it Red Dot-Watch Out food as shown the results below.
